The Camden-Wyoming Fire Company participated in the 14th annual Safe Summer Day event held at Brecknock Park.  Safe Summer Day is held every year in June and brings together mulitple state, county, local and private agencies to educate the public on the various aspects of public safety.  The event is free and and focuses on youth.  On display were tractor trailers, fire boats, fire trucks, an ambulance, a helicopter, police cars, the Kent County Command Vehicle and a fire safety house.  Some demonstrations included a karate demonstration, police K9 demonstration and a vehicle extrication demonstration (performed by us).  With the smiles on all of the kids faces I would say this years event was another success.
